今日は今学期最後のクラスでしたが、新しい方々も参加してくださり、有意義な学びの時をもちました。
礼拝では、�競灰螢鵐�10:1-18より「自己弁明をするときに気をつけること」というメッセージをお聞きしました。上に立つ人（リーダー）は、普段は自己弁明をしてはいけない。そうしなければならないような状況が起こること自体、既に負けだと思わねばならない。しかし時には、周囲の状況から自己弁明をしなければならない（そうする責任がある）ことも生じる。パウロは、コリント教会の人々から様々な批判をされ、その誤解を解く必要に迫られていた。そんなとき彼は、�―析造抜架討平瓦鬚發辰涜弍�した（1節）、��肉の思いではなく、神の前で事に当たった（3-5節）、��自分に割り当てられた領域を超えないよう注意を払った（13-16節）。パウロのこのような姿勢をお話を聞きしながら、この三つの心がけは、どんな社会や組織においても通じることだな、と思わされた。このクラス報告を読んでいる方々も、ぜひ音声による今日のメッセージを聞いていただきたいと思う。
続く午前のクラスでは、数年前に脱会された一人の元エホバの証人の方の脱会のプロセスをお聞きしました。脱会カウンセリングが始まってから4か月の日時を必要としたそうですが、自分が納得するまで、真剣に取り組んでいく証人の姿に感動しました。最近再び教会に連絡を取ってこられたそうですが、その方の内にまかれた福音の種を神様が育てていてくださるのだと感動しました。
午後のクラスでは、論文の書き方について質問があり、いろいろな論文の書き方について教えていただきました。その後「王国宣教7月号」解説がありました。特に、外国語会衆に集う人々を探そうとか、ろう者を見つけて伝道しようという記事を読んで、エホバの証人たちによる従来の戸別訪問の伝道は本当に行きづまっているのだなあ、と改めて分かりました。伝道の時間を入れるために苦労し、その報告の義務を負っているエホバの証人の方々は、私たちが想像する以上に気の毒な状況に追い込まれているのだと思いました。最後に、M兄が、最近の物理学について興味深い話題を提供してくださいました。私にはまだ分からないこともたくさんありますが、いろいろな考えを学べる機会になり感謝でした。鬼怒川における夏の移動教室でお会いしましょうと話し合い、それぞれが家路につきました。
