今日は涼しさが一段と深まった秋晴れの一日でした。
礼拝では、第二コリント１２:１１-２１より、「パウロの自己弁明」というメッセージがありました。パウロはコリント教会の信徒から、歓迎されなかったばかりか（１１節）、悪賢くて騙し取る人物であり（１６節）、自己弁護ばかりしている（１９節）と批判されていました。パウロは、そのような教会員が、パウロの語るメッセージを神からのものであると信じさせるため、また一人一人の信仰を築き上げるため（１９節）、自らの行動について詳しく説明しました。もし人から批判されたとき、どのように対応したらよいのか、深く考える機会となりました。
引き続いてのクラスでは、「王国宣教」の１１月号の解説がありました。エホバの証人たちがいかに戸別訪問や聖書研究が難しくなっているか、証人達の士気がさがらないようにしている様子がよく分かりました。また、クリスマスに対する組織の考え方が変わったかもしれない、という指摘がありました。さらに、JWTCのクラスを継続してほしいとの受講生からの声が読み上げられました。中澤先生は、「一人一人の声を大切にしながらお祈りをし、結論を出しましょう」と言ってくださいました。
午後からのクラスでは、エホバの証人の元長老石坂氏が組織に疑問を持っているエホバの証人をいかに説得するか、台本を用意してくださり、ロールプレイを演じてくださいました。巧妙な論理のすり替え、徹底的に訓練された話術によって、エホバの証人たちが簡単に騙されていくプロセスがよく分かりました。自分では何も考えなくなり人格が破壊されていくのかと感じ気持ちが重くなりました。
なお、長い間統一協会と闘ってこられた川崎経子先生が亡くなられた（82歳）とのご報告があり、クラスの後中澤先生が前夜式に出席するため、小諸に向かわれました。川崎先生は、エホバの証人の家族のためにも多くの労を取ってくださいました。感謝。
