今週のメッセージ : ２０１３年１月２３日の授業から
今日は比較的暖かい一日でした。礼拝では、エペソ3:1-13より「永遠のご計画に基づく奥義」というメッセージが取り次がれました。神は万物の創造の背後にある奥義を隠しておられた。それは、キリスト者が神の遺産の相続人になるという計画だった。ふつう「神の子」になるとは「天国に行ける」という意味に解釈されている。しかし、神の子になるとは、「神の遺産（被造物）の相続人になる」ということだと話してくださった。そう言われれば、自分もそのような誤解をしていたことに気づかされた。
続くクラスでは、受講生の質問を受け、ヨブ記の解説があった。中澤牧師によれば、ヨブ記を歴史の記録ではなく、「義人がなぜ苦しみに合うのか」という人生哲学の問題を扱った「劇の脚本」のようなものである。そういうとらえ方を私は初めてお聞きしたので、最初ちょっと戸惑った。でも、納得できるところもあり、家に帰ってから、ゆっくり考え直してみたいと思わされた。
午後のクラスでは、聖書とは矛盾するように見える科学的な問題についてキリスト者としてはどのように考えたらよいのかという質問が受講生から出された。「宗教と科学の関係」には、対立、独立、対話、統合の4つがあると、一般には言われている。しかし、そのような考え方だけでは不十分で、「キリスト者が自然を管理する」という視点から「宗教と科学の関係」をとらえ直さねばならないと、中澤牧師は答えられた。なるほどと新しい視点を教えられました。
最後のクラスでは、石坂元長老より、2013年1月発行の「ものみの塔の年鑑」から最近のものみの塔の動きを解説してくださいました。さらに、エホバの証人たちがものみの塔組織の中でどのように疑問を解消し、組織に忠実になっていくのかという点を、ロールプレイによって解き明かしてくださった。元長老の話は、証人たちの気持ちや論理をよく踏まえられているので、クラスの人々は皆ひきつけられるように聞き入っていました。私は集会の中の神権宣教学校のプログラムを思い出しながら、その通りだ、その通りだとうなづきながらお聞きしました。
今日もたくさんのことを学んだすばらしい一日でした。
