今週のメッセージ : 2010年1月20日の授業から
今日は、4月中旬の暖かさ。レギュラーのメンバーに加え、統一協会を脱会された方や、名古屋から出席してくださった方などにより、とても活発な、楽しいクラスとなりました。
礼拝では、ヨハネ9:35-41より、イエスによって癒された盲人が、単に肉体の目だけでなく、霊的な目も開かれ、イエスの本質が見えるようになったことが解き明かされました。この人は、最初イエスについて、「イエスという方」（9:11）と呼んでいますが、次に「預言者」（9:17）、さらに「神から出ておられる」（9:33）という認識を経て、ついに「主」（9:38）と告白し、礼拝をささげるようになったのでした。これに比べ、肉体の目が見えたパリサイ人は、霊的には盲目状態にあり、イエスの実態を最後まで見抜くことができなかったのです。とても考えさせられるメッセージでした。
続く午前のクラスでは、祈りは誰にどのようにささげるのがよいのか、プロスキュネオーの訳語は「礼拝する」（新改訳）、「ひざまずく」（新共同訳）、「敬意を表する」（新世界訳）の中でどれが正しいのか、というような問題が取り上げられました。
午後のクラスでは、今年2010年がエジンバラ宣教会義から100年目に当たることを踏まえ、この100年間にエキュメニズム（教会一致運動）がどのように進められてきたのかという歴史を学びました。そして、これからの50年、この課題に取り組む基本姿勢は、神学の一致を模索することにあるのではなく、啓示の受け手の多様性を受けとめるという、多元主義的なパラダイムを身につけることにあると示唆してくださいました。そして最後に、『ものみの塔の源流を訪ねて』の書物から、ラッセルの神学が結局アドベンチストのグループの中でまとめられたものに過ぎないことが明らかにされました。
