今日は、梅雨の真っただ中、小雨降る中でのクラスでした。礼拝では、コリント人への手紙第二3章より「律法と御霊の対比」というメッセージが取り次がれました。ユダヤ教には過越の祭、七週の祭、仮庵の祭の三大祭があります。七週の祭は過越の祭から50日目で、ペンテコステ（50の意味）と言われ、聖霊が下された日です。ラビ伝承は、ペンテコステの日にモーセ律法が与えられたとされています。すると、律法と御霊の両方の働きがどのように似ており、どのように違うのかが問題になりますが、コリント人への手紙第二3章は、その問題が論じられているという解説には目からうろこでした。
クラスでは、中澤先生が先日訪問されたアメリカのペンシルバニア州エリの町のグレース教会に関するレポート（その２）がありました。今後、大野教会がグレース教会と姉妹教会としての交流を発展させていくのに必要な情報がたくさん与えられました。特に、3つの場所を異にする教会が「一つの教会」であるために、どんなことを努力しているのかをお話しくださり、参考になりました。特に、教会のアイデンティテーをつくるものは、聖書のグランドストーリーを信じ、受け止めることにあるというお考えには納得しました。
今日も大変すばらしい学びをありがとうございました。
